"After over 40 years connected with the Recorder, today is my last day on the Sports Desk. My job is now redundant and I have to go. I am joining the news subs for a few weeks but then it will be time to go #endofanera"

Although BACON has large BAPS, I'm gutted that the Recorder SMOKED him. Stories like this tend to BREAKFAST giving little time to KETCHUP, but a RASHER decision you will seldom see.
